USA Business Development Manager (REMOTE)

Job description

Our client is hiring a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of performance marketing partners in the USA.

You will focus on expanding buyer relationships, improving revenue performance, and identifying new commercial opportunities across data driven marketing channels.

This is a high ownership role with direct impact on revenue growth and partner quality.

Account growth

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing commercial partners.
  • Increase revenue through improved partner performance and optimisation.
  • Identify opportunities to grow share of wallet across key accounts.

New business

  • Acquire new partners aligned with performance marketing objectives.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Expand presence within key international markets.

Performance optimisation

  • Monitor and analyse campaign and partner performance.
  • Compare partner outcomes and prioritise high value opportunities.
  • Optimise lead distribution towards the most relevant buyers.

Commercial operations

  • Support budgeting, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
  • Maintain clear reporting on performance and growth.
  • Apply structured approaches to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Market insight and representation

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Represent [our client] in industry events and partner meetings.
  • Build strong relationships across the performance marketing ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or data driven acquisition.
  • Track record managing and growing commercial partners or buyers.
  • Experience in high volume digital acquisition environments.
  • Strong commercial mindset with revenue ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured way.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.

Additional experience valued

  • Experience with incentive driven or lead based marketing models.
  • Familiarity with partner tracking and attribution platforms.
  • Understanding of data transfer formats used in lead distribution.
  • Existing network of relevant commercial partners.
