Head of Media Buying – Google Focus (Hybrid or Remote)

Job description

Our client is looking for a Head of Media Buying to take charge of their paid acquisition strategy with a strong focus on Google Ads. This is a senior role for someone who has already proven success at scale and is ready to lead both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Google Ads strategy across multiple markets.

  • Manage significant budgets with a focus on efficiency and ROI.

  • Lead, mentor, and expand the media buying team.

  • Test, optimise, and scale campaigns using a data-driven approach.

  • Collaborate with analytics, creative, and product teams to deliver growth.

  • Track competitor activity and adapt strategies to stay ahead.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing 7-figure annual ad spend.

  • Deep expertise in Google Ads.

  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset.

  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Available to work EU business hours, working remotely or based in / willing to move to Amsterdam / NL
