Fully Remote Chief Operating Officer

Our client is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational efficiency and align teams across the business.

This role focuses on improving how departments work together, reducing inefficiencies, and ensuring the organisation operates in a structured and scalable way.

What the role involves

You oversee daily operations while shaping long term efficiency.

  • Ensure core business functions operate effectively and in sync
  • Align product, commercial, and operational teams to improve collaboration
  • Introduce structured processes to reduce inefficiencies and avoid losses
  • Lead initiatives that replace manual work with scalable systems
  • Oversee multiple departments including operations, product, data, and support functions
  • Work with finance to improve budgeting, cost control, and performance tracking
  • Maintain structured workflows using project management tools
  • Provide clear updates on performance, priorities, and progress to leadership
  • Organise leadership planning cycles and ensure follow up on key objectives
  • Implement structured training and documentation across teams
  • Establish frameworks for risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Prioritise resources based on business impact and strategic goals
  • Support product rollouts and ensure adoption drives measurable outcomes
  • Strengthen collaboration between commercial activity and operational execution

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer within digital marketing and ideally based in APAC.
  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition, lead generation, mobile, gaming or online marketing models
  • Experience leading cross functional teams in fast paced organisations
  • Track record improving efficiency through process and automation
  • Experience working closely with finance on budgeting and performance tracking
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities
  • Structured approach to execution and problem solving

You will shape how the organisation operates and scales over time.
