Define and execute the go-to-market plan for Japan.

Identify monetisation trends specific to the region, especially in gaming and offerwalls.

Guide product localisation and help tailor global solutions to fit local demand.

Feed market insights back into product and growth teams.
Growth & Business Development

Land and expand relationships with top publishers and advertisers.

Build a steady pipeline of opportunities, close deals, and drive revenue.

Create the right ecosystem of demand and supply partners to support long-term growth.
Hiring & Team Leadership

Recruit and lead the Japan team from the ground up.

Foster a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s broader mission.

Set goals, track results, and take full ownership of the local operation.
Partnerships & Representation

Act as the company’s face in Japan.

Build relationships with key players in the gaming, media, and ad tech space.

Represent the business at major events and industry touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You’ll work directly with global leadership and product teams:

Chief Business Development Officer – Your main point of contact for expansion strategy and commercial targets.

Customer Success Director – Ensuring Japanese partners get the support and onboarding they need.

Monetisation Director – Aligning local market insights with offerwall product improvements and monetisation best practices.
Requirements

Deep experience in Japan’s digital or gaming industry

A strong network in advertising, publishing, or gaming

Proven track record of launching or scaling a commercial operation

Experience hiring and leading teams

Fluency in Japanese and English
