Content Strategist based in Bergen op Zoom

Job description

What you’ll do in a nutshell

  • Working with the Strategy Content Director, you will drive content development in alignment with content strategy -- from tactical planning and proposal development, to content production.
  • Support a range of initiatives such as ongoing storytelling, digital campaigns, product launches, company news, partnerships, events (virtual/hybrid/in-person), current or trending events, and other media.
  • Ideate, write, edit, and optimize content for clients ranging from press releases and articles to social media, video scripts, key messages and more.
  • Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, can spot spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors and inconsistencies with ease.
  • Adaptable to shifts in direction and priorities to successfully support evolving business priorities and copy/content needs.
  • Develop and facilitate customized workshops and training with international clients.

What you should bring

  • 5 to 10 years in copy driven, editorial content management roles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; ability to create content that is consistent, innovative, and educational without sacrificing clarity or deviating from the brand mission/voice
  • Data-driven mindset that supports content creation decisions.
  • An understanding of both SEO and organic social best practices to inform strategic content development, resulting in ongoing audience engagement.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship skills to move projects forward both internally and externally.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and strong administrative skills.
  • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
  • Understanding of popular CMS platforms such as Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
  • English writing proficiency to write and edit with a strong knowledge of English grammar. A second or third language is a plus.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
